Spinafy – Privacy Policy

Spinafy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what data our iOS app collects, how it’s used, and your choices. Spinafy is a simple decision wheel app with local storage, optional iCloud sync, AdMob ads, and an optional one-time purchase to remove ads.

Quick summary: App content you create (wheels and settings) is saved on your device and, if enabled, synced via your personal iCloud. We don’t run our own servers. Ads (AdMob) may use device identifiers for ad delivery and measurement.

Information we collect

Category	Details
App content (local)	Wheels, segments, colors, basic settings are stored on your device in local files. We do not receive this data.
iCloud sync (optional)	If you enable iCloud, the same local files are synced via Apple iCloud using your Apple ID. Data is stored in your personal iCloud and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases	Non‑consumable “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Apple’s in‑app purchase system. We receive no card details.
Advertising (AdMob)	AdMob may collect device information (e.g., identifiers, IP, approximate location) to deliver and measure ads. Personalized ads may rely on your consent and device settings.

How we use information

Operate the app – save and load your wheels and preferences.
Sync (optional) – keep your data available across devices via iCloud.
Ads & monetization – show AdMob ads, unless you purchase Remove Ads.
Support & improvements – diagnose crashes or issues using platform tools.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Consent – personalized ads (if applicable) and iCloud use depend on your choices.
Legitimate interests – app functionality, non‑personalized ad delivery, and security.
Contract – processing payments through Apple to provide the Remove Ads purchase.

Your choices

Remove Ads – make a one‑time purchase in the app to disable all ads.
Personalized ads – you can limit ad personalization in iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and reset your advertising identifier.
iCloud – enable/disable iCloud for the app in your device iCloud settings. Deleting the app’s iCloud container or the app itself removes synced files.
Local data – delete the app to remove local files from your device.

Data retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. iCloud data remains in your iCloud until you delete it via your Apple ID settings. We do not maintain separate copies on our servers.

Security

We rely on platform security features provided by iOS and Apple iCloud. No internet backend of ours stores your app content.

Children’s privacy

Spinafy is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided information via iCloud that should be removed, please contact us and manage the data via Apple ID settings.

International transfers

When you use iCloud or AdMob, your data may be processed on servers outside your country. These providers describe their safeguards in their privacy documentation.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain data. Because we don’t run a backend, most actions are controlled by your device, iCloud settings, and Apple purchase history. Contact us if you need help.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and publish a new version here.
